Ovenstone Equine Facilities Jumpcross Indoor Arena Outdoor Arena Events Entry Form Find Us Contact Us ~ Stable Fife ~ Livery yard fife ~ Equine ~ Off road hacking ~ Jumpcross ~ Liveries Available We offer a full range of liveries to suit you and your horse/pony's needs - grass only, DIY, Part, Full or an individual package to suit e.g. Full Monday to Friday and DIY at weekends Opening Hours The Yard is open 365 days a year, 7:00 am - 10:00 pm, and outside this by prior arrangement. Stables We currently have 25 "American-Barn Style" Bradmore stables housed within traditional pan-tile roofed farm buildings. These old sheds have excellent ventilation and have a great ability to slow the temperature variation throughout the day and the seasons, keeping the horses cooler in the heat of the summer days and warmer on a wintery night. We also have a further 9 similar stables situated in a modern open shed. Stables Each stable has hardwood walling to 4', a sliding door with anti-weave bars, an easi-fill hayrack, a swivel manger and are fully covered with rubber matting. Grazing Your horse can also enjoy all-year-round turnout on grass specially sown for horses that includes beneficial herbs. Electric fencing is used to sub-divide the groups of horses and allow strip-grazing depending on nutritional needs and seasonal growing variations. Horse Health All horses are covered by our horse health and welfare policies developed by Sam Duff BVM&S MRCVS Hacking We have ample off-road hacking available with tracks around the farm which lead to Balcaskie Estate and other quiet country areas Changing Rooms For your comfort, we have purpose-built heated changing facilities. These include kitchen area, Sitting area, separate male and female changing rooms, 2 toilets and shower room Kitchen Area Female Changing Room Extra Services We provide a variety of extra services including bring in, turn out, rugging and mucking out. We can do this at short notice - if required, e.g. your car breaks down, ill-health. Tack Safes To store your tack, we have installed steel, twin-lock safes. These are held in a secure room with a steel door. Handling Stocks We have a set of handling stocks for use by your vet, farrier etc should you require.
